Rajasthan Maru Udaan Program Launched Successfully

Under the aegis of the District Administration and the Department of Women Empowerment, the Rajasthan Maru Udaan Program was inaugurated on Thursday at the DRDA Hall, Collectorate premises, with an interactive workshop for women.

District Collector Pratap Singh inaugurated the program and provided necessary instructions to officials for the effective implementation of the initiative across the district. The program aims to promote education, health, self-employment, self-defense, and confidence among women.

Deputy Director of the Women Empowerment Department, Ashok Kumar Goyal, presented the program’s framework and emphasized the department's commitment to empowering women through resilience, capability, and skills. He highlighted the importance of mental health and announced that yoga camps would be a key part of the program. Yoga trainer Tripti Bhatia conducted yoga sessions and explained its significance for mental and physical well-being.

Lead Bank Officer Kamal Singh Khinchi focused on financial literacy and inclusion, highlighting the importance of vocational skill training for women's economic empowerment.

District Coordinator Ramesh Kumar shared details about the Chief Minister's Nari Shakti Training and Skill Enhancement Scheme, which offers free courses such as RS-CIT, RS-CFA, and personality development programs. Rashmi Bissa, District Coordinator of Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation, informed participants about various government initiatives, including the Prime Minister's Skill Development Scheme, that women can use to enhance their skills.

District Supply Officer Sawairam Suthar emphasized the holistic development of women and provided information on schemes run by the Supply Department.

The program was moderated by Protection Officer Chandraveer Singh Bhati, and Mahesh Chand Gupta, Deputy Director of Integrated Child Development Services, expressed gratitude to all participants at the conclusion of the event.
