PVC HONORARY CAPTAIN YOGENDRA SINGH YADAV VISITS 14 RAJ BATTALION NCC KOTA

Jaipur:   Param Vir Chakra Awardee Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav the Kargil War veteran visited 14 Rajasthan Battalion NCC Kota in their Combined Annual Training Camp at DAV Public School, Talwandi Kota on 29 Sep 2024.

            The NCC Cadets from diverse backgrounds and various districts of Rajasthan to include Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Tonk, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli, Gangapurcity and Sawai Madhopur gathered eagerly to listen to the inspiring words of Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav. Param Vir Chakra, awardee captivated the gatering of 500 NCC Cadets with a mesmerizing talk, recounting spell binding details of his heroic acts during the Kargil War. The audience was left in awe as Yogendra Singh Yadav shared gripping accounts of courage, sacrifice and unwavering determination in the face of adversity.

            Param Vir Chakra awardee’s lecture was not just a retelling of past battles, but a stirring call to action for all present to emulate the spirit of bravery and selflessness displayed on the battlefield. With humility and grace, he shared anecdotes of his experiences, offering valuable insights into the true meaning of courage and sacrifice. Throughout his speech, Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav emphasized the importance of excelling in one’s duties and striving for excellence in every endeavour. Drawing from his own journey, he highlighted the significance of perseverance, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the mission at hand. As the audience hung onto his every word, Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav’s message resonated deeply with each NCC Cadet.             During the event, Col SGS Sekhar, Group Commander, NCC Group Kota,   Col Subhash Mahato, Commanding Officer, 14 Rajasthan Bn NCC, Lt Col Sanjay Singh, Adm Officer 14 Rajasthan Bn, Shri Ashish Sharma, Treasury Officer, Kota, Shri Ved Prakash Gupta, LMC Member, DAV Public School, Dr Poonam Singh Principal DAV Public School, Kota were also present.
