Human welfare is possible only through truth and non-violence: COn Monday, Chief Minister

Udaipur. Chief Min Ashok Gehlot on Monday laid the foundation stone of the Global Institute of Jainology and Prakrit Bhawan of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He also took the blessings of Acharya Vardhaman Sagar Maharaj at Panch Kalyanak Mahotsav.
Mr. Gehlot said at the festival that the country needs to walk on the path of truth and non-violence by adopting the message told by Lord Mahavir. This is the only way that human welfare will happen. Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi also brought the principles of Mahavir ji to life and gave the message of non-violence to the world. He said that I have moved ahead by entering politics and adopting truth-non-violence.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is doing everything possible for the all-round development of the state. Public welfare schemes were made in the budget only after a thorough study by the experts. Dearness relief camps are being organized to provide relief to the people of the state from rising inflMoreountry. More than 5 crores of Chief Minister Guarantee Cards of 10 welfare schemes have been handed over to the common people. The benefits have also started pouring in.
Mr. Gehlot said that to realize the concept of Nirogi Rajasthan, the Rajasthan government first passed the Right to Health Act in the country. In this, medical facilities will be available to every person without any hindrance. Free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh is also being provided under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
The Chief Minister said that this building will prove to be important from the point of view of study, research, and knowledge of the origin and development of Jain's spiritual philosophy. He said that in the atmosphere prevailing in the country today, the principles of equality of all religions, truth, and non-violence of Lord Mahavir and Mahatma Gandhi are most relevant. It is the responsibility of all of us to maintain peace, harmony, and brotherhood in the country. The young generation should work for the welfare of humanity.
Addressing the program, former Minister of State for Education and MLA Mr. Govind Singh Dotasara said that the Chief Minister, who is running the mission of making the state a leader in the country by the year 2030, has worked for the development and human welfare of the state by rising above caste, religion, class, etc. worked for.
Social worker Khodania said that the idea of 'live and let live' is proving meaningful in the government of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot. He said that during the Corona period, the state government protected Digambar Jain saints during their migration from one place to another. He also informed that the state government has sanctioned funds for developing several Jain pilgrimages. On this occasion, Khodania demanded the construction of Sant Bhavans at every 20 km distance for the night rest of Jain saints during their voyage and expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for being present in the program.
Earlier, Acharya Shri Vardhman Sagar said that just as Lord Mahavir did many essential works for public welfare, similarly, the Chief Minister of the state is also trying for human welfare. Giving his best wishes to the Chief Minister, he said that he will always remain committed to human welfare. Acharya Vardhaman Sagar called upon the people present to follow the path shown by the Tirthankaras and noted that the state government has done valuable work in developing and securing all the pilgrimages, including Jain pilgrimage sites. He also called the Chief Minister to set up a Jain Welfare Fund.
Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot and other dignitaries laid the foundation stone of Mohanlal Sukhadia University's Prakrit Bhawan from the stage in the program. They released a booklet titled 'The Basis of a happy life: Vegetarianism.' In the end, Mr. Khodania thanked everyone.
Tribal Regional Development Minister Mr. Arjun Singh Bamnia, MLA Mr. Phool Singh Meena, Mrs. Preeti Shaktawat, Mr. Dinesh Khodania, chief guest of Panchkalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav Vardhman Sagar Maharaj and officials of Jain Mahasabha were present in the ceremony.
