Udaipur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is continuously striving to enhance study facilities for children from tribal communities. With the dedicated efforts of Tribal Regional Development Minister Babulal Kharaadi, administrative approval of ₹37.95 crores has been issued to increase the capacity of ashram hostels and residential schools by 675 seats in the TSP regions of Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, and Baran districts.
TAD Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani stated that an approval of ₹31.55 crores has been issued for 156 new dormitories in 30 ashram hostels across Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, and Baran districts, enabling accommodation for an additional 555 boys and girls. Additionally, ₹6.40 crores have been sanctioned for 15 new dormitories each in one residential school in Dungarpur and Banswara.
**Increased Capacity in Hostels:**
- In Udaipur district, the capacity for an additional 25 girls will be expanded in tribal girls' hostels at Gogunda, Dabok, and Jhadol. Similarly, accommodations for 10 boys each will be expanded in tribal boys' hostels at Oda, Gorana, Nalwa, Patia, Adivali, Kalyanpur, Barapal, and for 25 boys in the Sarera tribal hostel.
- In Salumbar district, the capacity will be increased by 25 each in the girls' hostel at Salumbar and the boys' hostel at Sarada.
- In Banswara district, additional accommodations are proposed for 15 in the ashram hostel at Badi Sarwa, 10 in the boys' hostel at Vajwana, 25 in the boys' hostel at Bhungda, 15 in Saredi Badi, and 25 in the girls' hostel at Badliya.
- In Dungarpur district, the capacity will be increased by 15 in the boys' hostel at Obri, 5 in the girls' hostel at Bichhiwada, and 15 in the boys' hostel at Simalwada.
- In Pratapgarh district, the capacity will be increased by 25 in the girls' hostel at Devgarh and 15 in the girls' hostel at Salmgarh.
- In Baran district, the capacity will be increased by 50 in the boys' hostel at Samrania, and by 25 each in the boys' hostels at Agar, Khanda Sahrol, Hatri, and Khandela, and by 10 each in the hostels at Kasba Thana and Bajrangarh.
**Increase in Residential School Seats:**
TAD Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani mentioned that 60 seats will be added each in the Government Tribal Girls' Residential School at Sagwara, Dungarpur, and the Government Tribal Girls' Residential School at Harengji Ka Kheda, providing more opportunities for tribal children to access better study facilities.
