Chittorgarh, The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has granted the recommendation of Member of Parliament C.P. Joshi for an FM station as a gift to Vallabhnagar, located in the Udaipur district of the parliamentary constituency of Chittorgarh. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is actively working under the Broadcasting Infrastructure and Network Development Scheme to broadcast through Doordarshan and All India Radio, reaching remote villages and expanding their networks.
As part of this initiative, approval has been given for a 1000-watt FM transmitter for the Vallabhnagar region. This will improve radio connectivity in Vallabhnagar and surrounding areas such as Bhindar, Kanod, Kura bard, Mawli, Fathnagar, Bhupal sagar, Doongla, and others.
Additionally, this will facilitate easy access to news and information in remote tribal and rural areas, as well as contribute to entertainment. The installation of this FM transmitter will ensure high-quality audio content in these regions.
C.P. Joshi, the Member of Parliament from Chittorgarh, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, for the gift of the FM transmitter in Vallabhnagar.
