Udaipur, Preparations for the upcoming assembly by-election in the Salumber constituency have commenced under the direction of District Election Officer Arvind Poswal. Along with the formation of various committees, the flying squads and monitoring teams have also been established. On Wednesday, training sessions for the SST (Static Surveillance Team), FST (Flying Squad Team), VST (Video Surveillance Team), VVP (Video Observation Team), AP (Assistant Polling), and AEO (Assistant Election Officer) were conducted at the Salumber Panchayat Samiti.
State-level master trainer Dr. Mahamaya Prasad Choubeesa provided detailed information to the flying squad teams, static surveillance teams, video observation teams, video monitoring teams, assistant expense supervisors, and accounting teams regarding their duties. He also explained the legal and illegal expenditure limits, which are set at 40 lakh rupees for candidates during the assembly elections, and provided guidance on expenditure evaluation and record maintenance.
District-level master trainer Dr. Pranav Joshi offered an in-depth explanation of the C-Vigil app and E-SMS system. The session was attended by Salumber Returning Officer Parvat Singh, Assistant Returning Officer and Tehsildar Mayur Sharma, Assistant Officer-in-Charge of Personnel Section Chandraveer Singh Chouhan, and ACP Jivanlal Meena from the DOIIT Salumber, among others.
Dr. Choubeesa announced that training for sector officers and police sector officers will be held on September 6 at the Salumber Panchayat Samiti conference hall.
