Tributes Paid to Professor K.K. Sharma

Udaipur, The literary and cultural organization, Prasang Sansthan, paid heartfelt tributes to renowned language expert Professor K.K. Sharma following his untimely passing. At a memorial event, the institution’s president, Dr. Indra Prakash Shrimali, highlighted Professor Sharma's contributions and honored him as a revered mentor. Dr. Shrimali reflected on how Professor Sharma taught with such dedication that even complex subjects became easily comprehensible for students. He noted that Professor Sharma was a distinguished scholar in stylistics, holding a unique position not only in Rajasthan but across the country. Sharma had also provided scientific explanations of correct pronunciation based on phonetics for participants in the Akashvani's voice courses.

Dr. Suyash Chaturvedi spoke about Professor Sharma's warm and friendly demeanor, recalling him as a friend of his father who always maintained a sense of warmth and intimacy. Former member of the Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi, Dr. Manju Chaturvedi, expressed pride in having been taught by Professor Sharma and benefiting from his insights. She highlighted his significant contributions to the scientific basis of language studies through his numerous publications on Hindi language and grammar.

The tribute gathering was attended by Reena Shrimali, Vijay, Dr. Sarita Jain, Jayant, Dr. Dharna, Adarsh, Manorama Chaturvedi, Visheshata, Tripti, and Chinmay, among others.
