Udaipur: As part of the Government of India's 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' (Drug-Free India Campaign), a workshop was organized at the Pacific Medical University campus to administer an anti-drug pledge to students. During the workshop, detailed information was provided to the students about the harmful effects of drug abuse, followed by a pledge to remain drug-free.
On this occasion, the institution's Chairperson, Rahul Agarwal, emphasized that the growing addiction to drugs among the youth is a matter of concern, but it can be controlled and remedied with time. University President Dr. M.M. Mangal also addressed the students, explaining the adverse consequences of drug use in detail and encouraging them to abstain from it.
The event was attended by Dr. Ummed Singh Parihar, Nodal Officer of the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan,' Dr. Neeta Sahi, Professor of Biochemistry at PMCH, along with faculty members and students from all constituent colleges of Pacific Medical University.
