SPSU Welcomes Batch of 2024

Looking at the enormous admissions the University has planned to conduct Orientation in two phases. In the first phase more than 800 students and parents participated in the orientation programme of Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur 'Sangyaan 2024' held on July 22, 2024. The next phase of orientation has been planned in the first week of August 2024.


The Honourable Vice Chancellor and President of SPSU, Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav in the inaugural address warmly welcomed the students and parents. He emphasized that SPSU, as an industry-driven and progressive university with robust corporate partnerships, cultivates a culture of innovation, creativity, and unconventional thinking.


Prof. Yadav encouraged students to actively engage in both curricular and co-curricular activities, as well as social awareness programs. He announced the launch of SPSU's PRERNA, a social internship project focused on building resilience through community engagement and holistic well-being. The University has introduced another significant initiative to promote physical fitness by making CPA mandatory for all students.

Commending the students' positive mindsets, he urged them to contribute to building a sustainable and inclusive world. The orientation programme aimed to help students adapt to college life and prepare them for future challenges and opportunities. The Registrar and the Deans, School of Engineering and School of Management shared their insights and inspired the students to embrace innovation, leadership, and contribute to the university's vibrant community.

The program featured a diverse range of engaging activities, including hands-on workshops, panel discussions, motivational talks, LAN gaming, and ice-breaking sessions, all of which enhanced camaraderie among the students. Beyond offering valuable academic insights and exciting experiences, the orientation profoundly fostered a sense of belongingness.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Deepak Vyas, Proctor and Dr. DS Chouhan, Deputy Dean, Student Welfare.
