Palak Sharma Makes a Double Golden Splash

Goa is currently hosting the 37th National Games, and the event has been a showcase of youth talent. Athletes from all over the country have converged in Goa to participate in this national competition. In this context, Palak Sharma from Madhya Pradesh has stunned everyone by winning two gold medals and one silver medal in the Diving competition at the National Games. Despite facing competitors much older than her, Palak outperformed them, securing not only two golds but also a silver in the event.

Originally from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Palak Sharma has earned a total of 35 medals in national and international competitions throughout her career. Palak is currently participating in both senior and under-19 categories at the National Games. She has won two gold and one silver medal in the National Games, six gold medals in the Junior Nationals, four gold, two silver, and two bronze medals in the Senior Nationals, and two gold, two silver, and one bronze in the SGFI.

Palak Sharma started diving in 2015 and has already received numerous awards in her career, including the Malwa Award in 2019, the Prime Minister's National Child Award in 2021, the Eklavya Award in 2022, and the Indore Gaurav Award in 2023. On the international stage, she secured one gold and two silver medals in the 10th Asian Age Group Championships held in 2019. Palak Sharma is now a renowned name in the world of diving and is leading the Indian diving team in international competitions.
