To enhance passenger convenience and connect tourist destinations, the railway is launching a new tri-weekly Udaipur City-Agra Cantt-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Superfast rail service.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, train number 20981, Udaipur City-Agra Cantt Vande Bharat Superfast will run tri-weekly (Monday, Thursday, Saturday) starting from September 2, 2024. The train will depart Udaipur City at 5:45 AM and arrive at Agra Cantt at 2:30 PM. Similarly, train number 20982, Agra Cantt-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Superfast will also run tri-weekly (Monday, Thursday, Saturday) from September 2, 2024. It will depart Agra Cantt at 3:00 PM and reach Udaipur City at 11:45 PM. This service will stop at Rana Pratapnagar, Mavli, Chanderiya, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, and Gangapur City stations en route.
Note: Due to the operation of the new tri-weekly Udaipur City-Agra Cantt-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Superfast rail service, the Udaipur City-Jaipur-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Superfast rail service will be reduced to three days a week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) from September 1, 2024. It will be permanently canceled on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
