The Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatric Nursing, and Child Health Nursing departments of Geetanjali College and School of Nursing marked the conclusion of their observance of World Breastfeeding Week. During the event, Dr. Vijaya Ajmera, the Dean of Geetanjali College and School of Nursing, shed light on families' pivotal role in breastfeeding. Dr. Yogeshwar Puri Goswami, the Principal of Geetanjali College of Nursing, commended the students' dedicated efforts and provided words of encouragement. Professor Dinesh Kumar Sharma, the Principal of the School of Nursing, underscored the importance of breastfeeding. Mr. Kamlesh Joshi, the Academic Officer, admired the students' hard work and conveyed his best wishes for their promising futures.
In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, various engaging competitions were organized, including poster-making, questionnaires, speech rallies, street plays, and health education activities. Outstanding participants such as Usha Godara, Rudra Pratap, Sachin, Tanu Chauhan, Ayush Dave, and Ayush Sharma secured the top positions in these competitions. Prizes were awarded to the winners of these diverse events as a token of recognition for their achievements.
