The event occurs at the Mukta Kashi Rangmanch of the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal. On the second day, August 19, a play based on the story "Aas" by the renowned storyteller Vijaydan Detha is being staged. Professor Kapil Sharma directs the play from Jaipur.

The story of the play "Aas Ka Bhav" is as follows: The soil of Rajasthan holds countless emotions, including bravery, romance, compassion, and more. Hidden within its particles are historical events and human values. This story by Padma Shri Vijaydan Detha sheds light on various aspects of Rajasthan's folk life and culture through his story collection and original creations. One such story is "Aas Amar Dhan," which portrays the plight of farmers in the drought-prone regions of Rajasthan. It vividly portrays the challenges faced during harsh times and how human values, humanity, and love can be eroded amidst difficult circumstances. The story highlights the ever-enduring spirit of hope that drives individuals to perform acts of kindness even in dire situations.

The play's transformation of the story into a theatrical form is so potent that the essence of the narrative becomes more vivid.
