Rally Conducted and Poster Competition Held to Raise Voter Awareness
Udaipur: In preparation for the upcoming 2023 state assembly elections, the Chief Electoral Officer's directives have led to the organization of cluster camps in all assembly constituencies of Udaipur district. These camps aim to raise voter awareness among diverse groups, including transgender individuals, differently-abled voters, nomadic tribes, sex workers, and others. As part of this series, a cluster camp was organized on Wednesday in the Udaipur city, Salumbar, and Vallabhnagar assembly constituencies, where applications were collected from newlywed women to include their names in the voter list.
In Salumbar, as part of the Voter Education and Voter Participation program, a rally was organized by students of the Rajkiya Hardi Rani Mahavidyalaya to raise awareness among the general public. Additionally, a poster competition related to voter awareness was conducted in the Romaavi Semari. The voter awareness team provided information to students about the operation of EVM-VVPAT machines and conducted mock polls.
