Historic Guru Darshan Yatra 2023 from Udaipur to Neemuch-Ratlam

330 devotees embarked on a historic Guru Darshan Yatra from Udaipur to Neemuch-Ratlam, returning to Udaipur. On September 23, at 5 AM, a convoy of seven buses carrying 330 pilgrims departed from Udaipur and arrived in Neemuch. There, they had the privilege of attending the enlightening discourse by Acharya Shri Ramesh and other revered speakers.

During the discourse, Acharya Ramesh inspired the Udaipur pilgrims by calling upon them to undertake a rigorous oil-free fasting (Telya Tap) as a part of the ongoing tapasya (austerities) in Neemuch. Without delay, 51 members from Udaipur pledged to observe this fasting during the Chaturmas (four-month period of spiritual observance).

It is worth noting that under the divine presence of Acharya Shri Ramesh, more than 75 individuals in Neemuch successfully completed an extended period of fasting and spiritual observance.

Following the discourse, Acharya Ramesh granted a special audience to the Udaipur group, where they requested the presence of Chaturmas Chaturvidh Sangh (a group of monks observing four different spiritual practices during Chaturmas) in Neemuch every year.

In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, the devotees had the opportunity to receive blessings and attend the Mangalik Shravan (auspicious listening) session with Acharya Shri Ramesh. They filled the entire premises with resounding chants and jubilation.

As the pilgrims prepared to depart for Ratlam after their evening meal, they received wonderful news. Mumukshu Sister Tamanna Ji, whose Jain initiation ceremony is scheduled for the upcoming month, had arrived in Neemuch. The entire Udaipur pilgrim contingent warmly welcomed Mumukshu Sister Tamanna Ji. This special occasion was graced by the presence of Aditya Muni Ji, the newly appointed National President of the Sadhumargi Sangh, who congratulated the Udaipur Youth Sangh on this remarkable event.

On September 24, the second day of the journey, all pilgrims gathered in an orderly fashion and set off to visit the revered saints and acharyas, including Aditya Muni Ji, Masa Ji, and others, at the discourse venue.

Walking approximately 1-1.50 kilometers together with morning chants of "Gaganbhed Jai Jaikaar," the devotees reached Samata Bhavan. There, Masa Ji conducted the Mangalik Shravan.

During this time, the Udaipur Samata Sangh requested Chaturmas for the year 2024 from Shri Aditya Muni Ji, even though the granting of Chaturmas and its arrangements lie in the hands of Acharya Shri himself. The fervent appeal of the Udaipur Sangh showcased their deep-seated devotion.

Following the discourse, Aditya Muni Ji, Masa Ji, and other saints spent time with the Udaipur Samata Sangh. This gave everyone an opportunity to recall the unforgettable moments of the Ram Mahotsav in Udaipur.

Masa Ji praised the dedication to renunciation, austerity, religion, and meditation that he witnessed in Udaipur. The pilgrims also had the chance to seek blessings and have darshan of the revered Mahasatis, Masa Ji, and other dignitaries during their visit to Ratlam.

At 2 PM, all the pilgrims assembled once more at Samata Bhavan, where they discussed various activities of the Udaipur Youth Sangh, received guidance on religious matters, and attended Mangalik Shravan.

Finally, after the evening meal, the 330 devotees departed for Udaipur in seven buses.

Throughout the journey, the hospitality in Neemuch and Ratlam was exceptional, ensuring that all pilgrims were well taken care of in terms of accommodation and meals.

The journey was a resounding success, thanks to the punctuality, presence, and cooperation of all the pilgrims. Notably, the enthusiasm, camaraderie, and dedication exhibited by 20-25 young members during the journey were praiseworthy.

The purpose of this journey was fulfilled, leaving behind priceless memories for all the devotees and ensuring its place as an unforgettable event for years to come.
