39th Memorial Day of Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar Observed in Udaipur

Udaipur: On the occasion of the 39th memorial day of Maharana Bhagwat Singh Ji Mewar, the 75th ruler of Mewar, a reverential ceremony was conducted at his cenotaph in Mahasatya. The ceremony involved heartfelt worship, floral tributes, and the offering of prayers and flowers.

Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar's memorial day is celebrated on Kartik Shukla Dashami. On this occasion, his cenotaph at Mahasatya was adorned with garlands and auspicious leaves, and a morning ritual was performed by the priest in the presence of scholars. Following this, offerings including fruits, coconuts, etc., were presented, and an aarti (ritual of worship with light) was performed.

During the event, Mahasatya's cenotaph of Maharana Bhupal Singh Ji was also adorned with floral garlands and auspicious leaves. Mahasatya's ceremony included the priest performing worship and rituals, followed by offerings and the completion of aarti.

In addition, post the Mahasatya ceremony, homage was paid to Shri Devarajeshwar Ji Mahadev temple with pindadan (ritual offering for the departed) and tarpan (ritual offering of water). The temple ceremony included the presentation of offerings and prayers.
