In Udaipur, the three-day Rajasthan State-level blind cricket competition, "Unnati-2024: Towards the Prosperity of Rajasthan," organized by Rotary Club Udaipur Meera and Rajasthan Cricket Association for the Blind, concluded on Monday at Maharana Bhupal Stadium.
Club President Sangeeta Moondra revealed that in a fiercely contested final match, RCB Ajmer emerged victorious, while NVS Royal Club Jodhpur secured the runner-up position. The entire 15-over match witnessed heightened excitement among players and cricket enthusiasts.
Program coordinators Shraddha Gattani and Sushma Kumawat shared that amidst applause and cheering, RCB Ajmer set a target of 79 runs for NVS Royal Club Jodhpur in 15 overs. However, Jodhpur's team succumbed to pressure and was all-out within six overs. In this thrilling encounter, Ajmer's team declared victory by eight wickets.
Punararam Vishnoi from Jodhpur, commenting on the final match, highlighted that Ajmer's team dominated from the early stages. Despite setting a target of 79 runs, Jodhpur's team struggled in their batting innings, ultimately being all-out in just the sixth over. Secretary Kavita Shrivastav and other members played key roles in organizing the event.
