Udaipur: A lecture was organized at BN College of Pharmacy where Dr. Pankaj Gandhi, Neurologist at Ananta Hospital, was honored by Pharmacy Principal Dr. Yuvraj Singh Sarangdevot with memento and certificate. The topic of this seminar was "Stroke: Symptoms, Causes, Prevention, and Contribution of Pharmacy D Students." Dr. Gandhi explained in detail about strokes, their various types, symptoms, and causes, emphasizing the importance of timely treatment and adopting a healthy lifestyle to prevent strokes.
Dr. Gandhi elaborated on the seriousness of the medical condition that occurs when there is a problem in the blood supply to the brain, depriving brain cells of oxygen and nutrients, causing permanent damage. He highlighted the crucial role of adopting a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise, a balanced diet, abstaining from smoking, and controlling blood pressure and sugar levels, in preventing strokes.
After the session, Dr. Gandhi addressed students' questions and urged them to accept a good lifestyle while creating awareness about strokes among people.
