### CM Jal Swavlamban Campaign to Embody ‘Water Power through Women Power
’Udaipur, To onor the intentions of Chief Minister Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government will strengthen the theme ‘Water Power through Women Power’ of the Ministry of Jal Shakti's campaign on the auspicious occasion of Hariyali Teej. Under the Hariyalo Rajasthan campaign, newly created water structures will be inaugurated collectively on 7 August as part of the CM Jal Swavlamban Campaign 2.0. District Collector Arvind Poswal has directed all concerned departments to ensure extensive preparations for this event.
**Role of Women Power through Rajeevika:**
District Collector Poswal stated that the state government has launched CM Jal Swavlamban Campaign 2.0 for the year 2024-25. Additionally, various water-related activities are being monitored on the portal under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, with the theme ‘Water Power through Women Power.’ Under this, women from self-help groups formed and operated through Rajeevika will be actively involved in the maintenance of various community water structures created under the CM Jal Swavlamban Campaign.
**Collective Inauguration on 7 August:**
Collector Poswal mentioned that as per state government directives, newly constructed water harvesting and conservation structures will be dedicated to the public collectively on 7 August 2024, on Hariyali Teej. Local MPs, MLAs, and Panchayati Raj representatives will inaugurate a community water harvesting and conservation unit in each panchayat committee. The District Collector has issued instructions to the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department, Rajeevika, and all panchayat committee development officers to ensure necessary preparations for this event.
