Raised the issue of developing Mirabai Memorial Institute during Zero Hour in Lok Sabha
**New Delhi, Chittorgarh MP C.P. Joshi, during Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha, participated in the proceedings of the House and raised the issue of developing the Mirabai Memorial Institute in the context of the 525th birth anniversary of Devotee Shiromani Mirabai.
MP Joshi drew the attention of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, through the House, stating that under the Modi government, this ministry has developed sites associated with valor, bravery, devotion, and spirituality through various schemes like Swadesh Darshan, PRASAD, and HRIDAY.
Currently, the Government of India is celebrating the 525th birth anniversary of Devotee Shiromani Mirabai with great pomp across the country. Mirabai is associated with four major places: Medta, where she was born; Chittorgarh, where she was married; Vrindavan, where she worshipped; and Dwarka, where she merged with the Lord.
MP Joshi urged the government through the House to include the Mirabai Memorial Institute in Chittorgarh, which already possesses necessary land, in the ministry's schemes and develop it. This would benefit devotees and researchers from India and around the world who come to study and explore Mirabai's life, works, and devotion. Chittorgarh houses the world's largest library on Mirabai, and continuous study and research are conducted at the Mirabai Memorial Institute, with various programs held over the years.
MP Joshi requested the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to develop the Mirabai Memorial Institute in Chittorgarh on the occasion of her 525th birth anniversary, thereby facilitating devotees and researchers worldwide to benefit from this significant site.
