Independence Day: Sarpanch Hoists Flag and Takes Salute of the March Past

On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, the main program of Gram Panchayat Amarthun was organized at Rautmavi Amarthun on Thursday. Sarpanch Rajendra Kumar Charpota hoisted the flag at 9 AM, inspected the parade, and took the salute of the march past.

After a light morning rain, the main Independence Day ceremony witnessed the participation of NCC, NSS, senior scouts, and rover teams in the parade under the guidance of Kachrulal Charpota, Harishankar Bherulal Dodiyar, and Parvat Singh.

On the 78th Independence Day, Sarpanch Rajendra Kumar Charpota emphasized that the sacrifices of freedom fighters have gifted us our independence. Khushpal Katara read out the department's message. The Amarthun School team performed a band presentation.

Following this, students from local educational institutions presented exercises and group singing. The group singing was directed by Mrs. Raina Ninama and Mrs. Pragya Adhikari.

Folk artists performed patriotic songs, including "Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon," and girls enchanted the audience with a group folk dance. The performances on tribal dance and patriotic songs were rewarded with cash prizes announced by the parents.

Students from various educational institutions under the local nodal presented exercises and group singing.

During the event at Rautmavi Amarthun, speakers like Naseer Ali Ansari, Deepchand, Laxman Lal, Rakamchand Charpota, and Radheshyam Bherulal Seth emphasized the importance of independence and education.

In the general assembly, Principal Arun Vyas provided a financial report, annual achievements, and expressed joy over the school's consistent 100% examination results over the past four years and the establishment of three board exam centers: NIOS, RSOS, and Secondary Education Board exam centers. He also highlighted the need for 10 additional classrooms and toilet construction due to high enrollment of 734 students and the lack of rooms. He further discussed the construction requirements for NSS, NCC, girls' hostel, and sports stadium at Rautmavi Amarthun.

The event was attended by a large number of rural parents, citizens, and staff from Rautmavi, Rapravi, Anganwadi centers, and Maa Bari centers.
