### Two Zinc Football Academy Players Selected for India U-17 Team for Indonesia Friendlies*

**Udaipur** – Zinc Football Academy, a CSR initiative of Hindustan Zinc, has once again produced two talented players for the nation. Sixteen-year-olds Mohammad Kaif and Prem Hansdak from the academy in Zawar have been selected for India's U-17 team to play two friendly matches against Indonesia in Bali.

Mohammad Kaif, a center-back from a humble football-loving family in Makrana, Rajasthan, previously represented India in the 2023 SAFF U-16 Championship, making history as the first player from Rajasthan in over 40 years to don the national jersey. Kaif is eager to use these upcoming friendlies as a platform to secure his spot in the national team for the SAFF U-17 Championship in September.

Striker Prem Hansdak, who impressed last year in the AIFF U-17 Youth League by scoring 19 goals in just 12 matches, is excited about his international debut. Born to a farmer's family in Jharkhand and raised in West Bengal, Prem is determined to continue his success on the international stage.

The two friendlies are scheduled for August 25 and 27 in Bali, Indonesia.

Before Kaif and Prem, Zinc Football Academy had success with goalkeeper Sahil Poonia and forward Ashish Mayla, both of whom have represented the country. Sahil was later signed by the top Indian football club, Bengaluru FC.

Zinc Football, a CSR initiative of Hindustan Zinc, is aimed at bringing a football revolution to Rajasthan. It is a unique grassroots and youth development program that uses football as a tool for social and community development, ensuring that young children have a platform to express themselves through the sport.
