Banswara, August 22 – The National Space Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and ceremony at Government Higher Secondary School, Amrathun, under the leadership of educator Nasir Ali Ansari.
Rally Organized by Abdul Kalam Azad Science Club
The event began with a rally led by the Abdul Kalam Azad Science Club of Amrathun. A total of 702 school children participated, marching through various localities at the Gram Panchayat level. The rally, which featured chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and celebrated the achievements of Chandrayaan, concluded at the school pandal as part of an awareness campaign.
Seminar on India’s Space Achievements
A seminar titled "India’s Achievements in Space" was held under the guidance of Kapil Kumar Verma. The seminar highlighted India's illustrious history and success in space through charts and models, illustrating the nation's space achievements.
Competitions and Awards
The event also featured several competitions, including chart and poster-making, rangoli, impromptu speeches, and essays on the lives of scientists. Students toured various departments such as the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Agricultural Science, Computer Lab, and Vocational Education Lab. Awards were presented to various participants on National Space Science Day.
The event included addresses by notable figures such as Jeevan Lal Ninama, Hitesh Kumar Ninama, Pragya Adhikari, Smt. Raina Ninama, Mukesh Kumar Patel, Badhan Lal Damor, Anup Kumar Mehta, Kapil Kumar Verma, Dilip Kumar Meena, Parvat Singh, Harishankar, Bherulal Dodiya, Khushpal Katara, Dayashankar Charpota, and Mayur Padiaar.
The program was conducted by Khushpal Katara and Dayashankar Charpota, who also expressed gratitude to all the participants and contributors.
