### Preparations for Upcoming Festivals and Repairs
**Banswara ,Ahead of upcoming festivals including Ganesh Chaturthi, Jaljhulni Ekadashi, Anant Chaturdashi, Jain Rathotsav, Barawafat, and Navratri, a meeting was held on September 3, 2024, at 11 AM with Nagar Parishad Chairman Shri Jainendraji Trivedi. The meeting included the Commissioner, Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical), Lighting Inspector, Sanitation Inspector, and other relevant officials. Key directives given were:
1. **Road Repairs:** RUIDP contractors were instructed to repair potholes on routes from Ganesh idol arrival to immersion sites. Technical officers were directed to oversee the work.
2. **Barawafat Procession:** Junior Engineer instructed to repair potholes on the procession route from Rajtalab to the city.
3. **Cleanliness Drives:** Sanitation Inspector and Junior Technical Assistant were directed to clean main roads, procession routes, and nearby dividers. Auto tippers will be used for post-procession cleanup.
4. **Street Lighting:** Immediate repairs for non-functional street lights were mandated. Additional lighting to be arranged near procession routes, temples, and mosques during festivals.
5. **Street Lights on Udaipur Road:** Instructions were given to activate street lights installed at Maharana Pratap Square.
6. **Inspection:** Executive Engineer to inspect work done by Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme workers.
7. **Pothole Repairs:** Junior Engineer directed to fix potholes near Maharana Pratap Square today.
8. **Stray Animals:** Sanitation Inspector to conduct night patrols to capture stray animals and house them in the shelter, keeping them there until after the festivals.
9. **Ganesh Immersion Site:** Junior Engineer instructed to clean and prepare the Dialab pond for Ganesh idol immersion, including setting up platforms and boats.
10. **Jaljhulni Ekadashi:** Repairs and cleaning around the Rajtalab fairground were ordered.
11. **Ganesh Idol Locations:** Potholes around Ganesh idol installation sites to be filled and regular cleaning for ten days.
12. **Jain Rathotsav:** Route from Mahalaxmi Chowk to Gandhi Statue to be repaired for the procession.
13. **Garba Areas:** Potholes around Garba areas to be filled and maintained with regular cleaning for nine days.
