### Tribal Students to Learn Life Skills under State Government Initiative*

_Udaipur,  Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to empowering tribal youth across various fields. As part of this effort, life skills training will be introduced for students in tribal hostels and residential schools to equip them with the ability to face life’s challenges. The Tribal Area Development Department (TAD) has signed an MoU with Magic Bus India Foundation to implement this training. The program, initiated by TAD Minister Babulal Kharadi, will provide activity-based life skills education under the guidance of teachers and wardens, specifically tailored to the needs of the tribal communities.

The training will be rolled out in 53 residential schools and 440 hostels across 25 districts, benefiting approximately 42,000 tribal students.

**A Three-Year Program**

Pragya Kevlarmani, Commissioner of the TAD, mentioned that the program will span three years. In the first year, master trainers will be selected and trained, a curriculum will be developed, and life skills sessions will begin in hostels and residential schools. In the second year, the results will be assessed using a Holistic Progress Card (HPC), with increased monitoring and the introduction of "Magic Mitra," an AI-based chatbot on WhatsApp for real-time tracking. By the third year, the focus will shift to ensuring sustainability and strengthening the monitoring system.

Under the program, 493 ashram hostels and residential school teachers, wardens, and assistant wardens will be trained, preparing them to teach life skills to students from classes 6 to 12.

**A Transformative Platform for Inclusive Education**

Jayant Rastogi, Global CEO of Magic Bus India Foundation, highlighted that this collaboration with the Rajasthan government will help solve challenges faced by students in tribal communities, who often live in resource-limited environments. The partnership aims to empower them to overcome difficulties and achieve success through life skills education. This initiative will provide a strong foundation for the future of tribal communities, creating a transformative platform for inclusive education in Rajasthan.

The state government is dedicated to providing holistic education alongside traditional education. By building skills, this initiative aims to boost students' confidence, ambition, and capabilities, enabling them to achieve better results in school.

**Empowering Students**

TAD Commissioner Pragya Kevlarmani emphasized that Rajasthan is committed to the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation is a significant step in achieving this goal. The aim is to make students self-reliant and capable of actively contributing to their communities, leading to sustainable progress and prosperity in Rajasthan.
