Rotary Club Udaipur Honors 31 Educators with Nation Builders Award

Udaipur — The Rotary Club of Udaipur hosted the Nation Builders Award ceremony for the year 2024-25 today at the Rotary Bajaj Bhavan. The event recognized 31 educators from the city for their contributions to nation-building. Colonel Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Vice-Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar University, was the chief guest.

In his address, Prof. Sarangdevot emphasized the need to build an integrated India through knowledge and highlighted the crucial role of educators in this mission. He stated that while many things in life can be acquired, good people are rare, and it is essential to share moments of happiness with future generations. He also stressed the interconnectedness of teachers, the nation, and education, noting that the success or failure of a nation depends on its educators.

Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, the program coordinator, introduced Prof. Sarangdevot, recalling the mutual respect between Munshi Premchand and the founder of Janardan Rai Nagar University, Janardan Rai Nagar. He also emphasized that ideal life involves hard work and that teachers should be community builders.

Club President Anil Chhajed welcomed the attendees and noted the significant responsibility of the Nation Builders Award recipients to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building.

The following educators were honored with the Nation Builders Award: Pankaj Vya, Kailashchandra Mundra, Dr. Shabnam Chaturvedi, Heeralal Suthar, Bhupendra Prasad Upadhyay, Prakashchandra Kundal, Rekha Jarwar, Suman Audichya, Sarita Mandomra, Satish Kumar Mishra, Vishnu Panda, Anjali Joshi, Khushalata Joshi, Pannalal Teli, Renuka Theophilus, Kishan Gandhav, Janak Singh Rawat, Rekha Sharma, Dheeraj Ameta, Dinesh Prakash Sharma, Omprakash Chaubisa, Heena Soni, Shadema Imran Khan, Ajay Singh, Manjeeta Ramdev, Dharmistha Singh, S.L. Jain, and Suman Jain. They were presented with shawls, mementos, and fruits.

New member Prakashchandra Koiari took the oath of membership administered by former District Governor Nirmal Singvi.

The ceremony began with Secretary Advocate Dr. Bharat Saruparia presenting the secretary's report. Ish Vandana Padam Dugad performed a devotional song, and the event was conducted by Rajendra Sen. At the conclusion, Bharat Saruparia expressed gratitude to all involved.
