Prof. Vivek Pandey Appointed Controller of Examinations at Rajasthan Technical University
Kota: Prof. Vivek Pandey from the HEAS Department has been appointed as the new Controller of Examinations at Rajasthan Technical University (RTU). The appointment was announced by RTU’s Public Relations Officer, Vikram Rathore, with the orders issued by the university's Registrar. Prof. Pandey assumed his new role from the current Controller, Dr. Dheerendra Mathur.
In his new role, Prof. Pandey expressed his gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Prof. SK Singh. He emphasized that ensuring the authenticity, reliability, and confidentiality of RTU's examinations will be his primary focus. Additionally, he outlined plans to implement timely examination results and introduce innovations in examination systems, keeping in mind the students' interests.
Prof. Pandey highlighted that the core objective of the university is to make the examination system more effective and equitable, providing students with a fair and comprehensive evaluation experience. Under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. SK Singh, RTU aims to enhance the examination process in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP). He stressed the need for accurate student assessment and the evaluation of higher-order skills such as application, analysis, creation, and evaluation. The university will strive to implement the reformative suggestions of the NEP to improve the examination system.
