42nd Prabhat Sangeet Day Celebrated: A Tribute to Humanity

Udaipur : The 42nd Prabhat Sangeet Day was celebrated on September 14, 2024, at the Jagruti Complex on Tekri-Madri Road. This event was organized jointly by Reenasan Universal, Udaipur, and the Society for Microvita Research and Integrated Medicine (SMRIM), Udaipur. The ceremony commenced with the garlanding of a replica of Shri P.R. Sarkar, the pioneer of Anand Marg, Microvita theory, and Prabhat Sangeet, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

Dr. S.K. Verma, President of the Society, explained that 'Prabhat Sangeet' is a remarkable collection of 5018 songs in eight languages: Bengali, Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Urdu, Maithili, Angika, and Bhojpuri. Shri P.R. Sarkar composed the first song, "Bandhu Hai Nie Chalo," on September 14, 1982, in Devghar, Bihar, and the final song, "Amra Gade Nov Gurukul," on October 20, 1990, in Kolkata. The Prabhat Sangeet collection, created within an eight-year span, includes songs covering various dimensions of life, emotions, and hymns of praise to Shiva and Krishna. These optimistic songs herald a new dawn in life and attract positive Microvita, making the environment conducive to spiritual practice. Prabhat Sangeet serves as a dialogue between the devotee and the divine, providing a unique medium to express the innermost feelings of the heart.

During the Prabhat Sangeet event, various songs such as "Asechile Tumi Amar Jivane," "Chiraharita Enecho," "Janme Janme Ami," "Aaye Ho Tum," "Kartaar Mere," "Jameen Aasmaan Tumhara," "Jyotite Ujjwal," "Bhoolo Na Prabhu," and "Tomay Ami Pelum" were performed. Notable contributions were made by Giridhari Lal Soni, Inder Singh Rathore, Sarita Mathur, Usha Sharma, Kailash Chaudhary, Shivraj Mathur, Rashmi, Rahul, Anju Rathore, Sudha Verma, Rajendra Jain, and others. Participants also shared their personal experiences related to Prabhat Sangeet. The ceremony concluded with a recital of the Ashtakshara Siddha Mantra 'Baba Nam Kevalam,' followed by a collective devotion, Varnadhyan, and self-study reading.
