All-India Conference of Sanskrit Bharati Concludes in Haridwar

Haridwar, Uttarakhand: The All-India Conference of Sanskrit Bharati was successfully held on September 15 and 16 at the Vyasa Mandir, Kashi Math, Haripur Kalaan, Haridwar. The conference saw the participation of scholars and representatives from the Udaipur region, among others from across the country and abroad.

Coordinator Dushyant Nagda reported that the conference aimed to outline activities for the year ahead and set goals for promoting Sanskrit as a spoken and practical language. Participants resolved to spread various dimensions of Sanskrit to every individual, fostering a deeper connection with the language.

The inaugural session featured the esteemed presence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and revered spiritual leader Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj, President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. The session was chaired by Professor Gopabandhu Mishra, National President of Sanskrit Bharati, along with other dignitaries, including K. Srinivas, President of the Kashi Math Trust in Varanasi.

During the event, Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the importance of Sanskrit, describing it as the best and most cultured language. He highlighted that Uttarakhand is the first state in India to establish Sanskrit as a second language.

Representatives from the Udaipur region included Minister Pramanand Sharma, Co-Minister Madhusudan, Publicity Chief Tarun Mittal, Education Chief Meetha Lal, Department Head Dushyant Nagda, Co-Head Narendra Sharma, and Advisory Council Head Dr. Renu Paliwal, along with other distinguished guests like Sapna Joshi, Keshav, and State Contact Chief Dr. Yagya Ameta.
