###Mega Health Consultation and Screening Camp by Inner Wheel Club Draws Large Crowd*
*Udaipur:* The Inner Wheel Club organized a mega health consultation and screening camp at Pacific Hospital, which witnessed an overwhelming response from the public.
Club President Chandrakala Kothari stated that under the club’s friendship and service initiatives, various programs are conducted regularly. In line with this, a health awareness and consultation camp for women was organized to raise awareness about their health. A large number of city residents attended and benefited from the camp.
Inner Wheel Club Secretary, Dr. Seema Champawat, emphasized that in today’s hectic lifestyle, people often neglect their health, though good health is the foundation of happiness. Through this initiative, both men and women eagerly participated in the camp, where they received consultations on various health issues, including cervical and breast cancer, heart diseases, bone, eye, and gynecological conditions. Screenings like mammography, Pap smears, sonography, X-rays, ECG, echo, thyroid tests, cholesterol, diabetes, blood, and urine tests were conducted free of charge.
Camp in-charge Anil Agarwal pointed out that women often ignore their health issues, regardless of severity, delaying necessary checkups and treatment, which can lead to serious problems later. This initiative aims to raise health awareness among women and ensure timely diagnosis and treatment. The camp also provided financial relief, as many routine tests, which can often strain a household’s budget, were conducted free of cost.
At the conclusion of the camp, all attendees were provided with nutritious meals. Inner Wheel members Chandraprabha Modi, Bela Jain, Babita Jain, Rita Bapna, Rita Mahajan, Brijraj Rathore, Neeta Kothari, and Sunaina Jain were present at the event.
The camp was also graced by prominent city figures including Sumati Lal Champawat, Ramesh Godawat, Gajendra Taletia, Sumitra Champawat, Geeta Godawat, Suman Jain, Bhoomika Dhannawat, Lakshmi Kodia, Sunita Kawalia, Anita Sahu, Preeti Pancholi, and Anjana Dhannawat.
