Kota – In response to the disrespectful comments made by BJP leaders and ministers regarding Rahul Gandhi, the City Congress Committee organized a protest outside the District Collectorate today. The demonstration, led by District Congress President Ravindra Tyagi, was part of the PCC's directive against the Modi government.
Ravindra Tyagi stated that the Modi government is intimidated by Rahul Gandhi's growing popularity, resorting to low political tactics. He emphasized that Congress members will not tolerate such comments and that the Modi government is merely watching while its ministers make violent statements. Tyagi criticized this as an attempt to divert public attention from the upcoming elections in four states, asserting that the truth will prevail.
Congress candidate Prahlad Gunjal remarked that Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra has amplified the voice of the common people, and this impact is evident in the violent rhetoric seen in the Lok Sabha. He pointed out that the Modi government, which is running on a minority vote, is unstable and can fall at any time.
Women's Congress President Rakhi Gautam condemned the government’s hasty, violent comments, promising that Congress will continue to oppose such actions. Local leader Naeemuddin Guddu emphasized that while Rahul Gandhi works to unite the country and eliminate hatred, the Modi government fosters discord.
Dr. Vijay Soni noted that the protest was supported by prominent figures such as Deputy Mayor Pawan Meena, Kathun Municipality Chairperson Aina Mahak, and various block presidents and Congress officials. Many Congress members participated, voicing their unity and commitment to standing against the government's actions.
