### Efforts to Attract More Investments to Increase Employment in the State - Deputy Chief Minister*

Kota/Bhilwara, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari stated that the Rajasthan government is making concerted efforts to attract substantial investments to the state. The Chief Minister and the Industries Minister, through foreign visits, are committed to providing adequate support to industries to create maximum employment opportunities in Rajasthan. The Deputy CM addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest at the Rajasthan State Conference 2024 of Laghu Udyog Bharati in Bhilwara on Saturday. She assured that the government is determined to resolve the issues faced by industries in Bhilwara.
Industries Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore announced the Rajasthan Government's collaboration with Laghu Udyog Bharati for Stone Mart 2026. Rathore also shared plans to introduce 21 new policies and amend 60 existing ones for the benefit of industries, along with granting approval for private industrial parks.
Minister of Forests and Environment Sanjay Sharma announced strict action against industries polluting farmlands by discharging contaminated water. The event was also addressed by Minister of State for Industries K.K. Vishnoi, National President of Laghu Udyog Bharati Ghanshyam Ojha, and Rajasthan Minister Prakash Chandra.
Laghu Udyog Bharati State President Shanti Lal Balar raised key issues such as the 200% solar notification, the increase in banking charge limits for solar, the consolidation of electricity charges into a single rate, settling old payments under the Chief Minister's Incentive Scheme, removing fire cess for buildings up to 15 meters, creating land banks, and eliminating mining TP.
Conference Coordinator Ravindra Jaju, in his welcome speech, emphasized Bhilwara’s rich mineral resources and highlighted the need for government policy and support. He proposed the implementation of lower electricity rates, unlimited solar energy, a special industrial zone, and a comprehensive plan to ensure the realization of the announced Textile Park in Bhilwara. He also called for removing the requirement of 50% turnover of bid value, composite unit conditions, and experience of government supply worth ₹100 crores in the school uniform tender. Additional demands included setting up a wastewater treatment plant, ESI hospital, and underbridge at the Growth Center. There were also requests for applying RIICO rules to the District Industries Center for land transfers, product changes, rent agreements, and sub-division.
The event witnessed participation from representatives of 160 industrial areas from across the state, with discussions in the initial session focusing on various industry challenges and solutions. Plans for expanding the organization were also deliberated upon.
Former MP Subhash Bahediya, MLA Ashok Kothari, Mayor Rakesh Pathak, RCM Group’s Tilok Chand Chhabra, Ostwal Group’s Pankaj Oswal, Rajkumar Melana, Sanjeev Chirania, Mahesh Hurkat, Girish Agarwal, Suresh Kogata, Kamlesh Jain, Ramprakash Kabra, Ajay Mundra, Balkrishna Kabra, Hargovind Soni, Satyaprakash Gaggad, Ramratan Jagetiya, Ramkishor Kabra, KK Jindal, Omprakash Mundra, Amit Jalan, Puneet Soni, Ajay Agarwal, Sunil Mehta, Abhishek Jain, Abhishek Sharma, and Ravi Kalra were also present. The women's unit played an active role in organizing the event. The program was jointly hosted by Pallavi Laddha and Sumit Jagetiya.
