### Pacific Doctors Save Malaria Patient’s Life

Udaipur, : A critically ill malaria patient was given a new lease on life by the dedicated team of doctors at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). The patient, Khema Ram, arrived at the hospital in an unconscious state, exhibiting severe symptoms of malaria. Thanks to the swift and expert medical care, he has now fully recovered and has been discharged.

Upon arrival, Khema Ram was immediately admitted to the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) under the supervision of Dr. Shaukat Ali Bohra. His platelet count had dangerously dropped to 9,000, putting him at high risk of slipping into a coma. Recognizing the critical nature of the case, Dr. Bohra and his team conducted all necessary tests and initiated immediate treatment.

With round-the-clock care, the patient's condition began to improve. As his health stabilized, he was transferred from the MICU to the general ward for further recovery. The team of doctors involved in his treatment included Dr. Vijendra Chauhan, Dr. Mayur Parvani, Dr. Nishant Yadav, Dr. Vijay Majirana, Dr. Pavna P. Sarathi, Dr. Brijesh Sauji, and Jigar Singh Chauhan, all of whom played a crucial role in his recovery.

The entire treatment was provided free of cost, with support from hospital management. Grateful for the life-saving care, the patient's family expressed heartfelt thanks to PMCH Chairman Rahul Agarwal, Executive Director Aman Agarwal, the team of doctors, and the nursing staff for their dedication and service.
