Today, a program was held at the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE) under Maharana Pratap Agricultural and Technology University to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The event was chaired by Dean Professor Anupam Bhatnagar, who encouraged students to draw inspiration from the lives of these two great leaders and contribute to the nation's development. He also advised students to read Gandhi's autobiography, "The Story of My Experiments with Truth."
Assistant Dean for Student Welfare, Dr. Vikramaditya Dave, reported that around 200 students participated in the event. All students paid floral tributes to Gandhi, and a rendition of his favorite bhajan, "Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye," was sung and played.
Following the tribute program, in accordance with government directives, all students contributed to the "Swachhata Hi Seva" (Cleanliness is Service) campaign. Students and staff collectively cleaned various areas of the campus and learned about the importance of cleanliness. The program was attended by heads of various departments, faculty members, and staff.
