Udaipur: The cultural night held at Opera Garden, 100 ft. Road, Shobhagpura, was filled with the timeless melodies of Bollywood singer Nitin Mukesh. The event, organized by Srijan the Spark's Udaipur chapter in association with Hindustan Zinc, featured a mesmerizing musical performance by Nitin Mukesh, who captivated the audience with evergreen hits. The city echoed with nostalgia as Nitin Mukesh, son of the legendary singer Mukesh, performed classic Bollywood songs, leaving the audience spellbound.
The evening began with a soulful performance of Rajasthani folk music by Hemant Menaria, Mahesh Ameta, Deepak Dixit, and Brajendra Seth, setting the tone for the night. Nitin Mukesh opened his performance with the *Hanuman Chalisa* and followed it with iconic songs like *Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan* from *Mera Naam Joker*, *Suhana Safar Aur Yeh Mausam Haseen*, *Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaaye* from *Anand*, and many others, keeping the audience enraptured.
Nitin Mukesh expressed his gratitude for receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, stating that despite his long career, he continues to feel the need to prove himself. He spoke about his lifelong dedication to music, calling it both his worship and life’s purpose. He also shared his personal connection to Udaipur, revealing that he had celebrated his eldest son’s wedding here and plans to do the same for his younger son.
The event also honored two distinguished social workers and businessmen who have spread the essence of Rajasthan both nationally and internationally. Prakash Jain, Chairman of Inspira Entertainment India Ltd., received the Business Visionary Achievement Award for excellence, and Pankaj P. Shah, CMD of P.G. Foils Ltd., was honored with the Amir Khusro Business Iconic Award. Additionally, renowned Rajasthani folk singer Seema Mishra was recognized with the Special Art Promoter Award, while Padma Shri ghazal legends Ahmed Hussain and Mohammed Hussain were presented with the Hindustan Zinc Srijan Lifetime Achievement Award.
Srijan the Spark's Chief Patron, Retd. IPS Prasanna Kumar Khamesara, Hindustan Zinc’s Chief Human Resource Officer Manish Vasudev, IG Rajesh Meena, DIG Anti-Corruption Rajendra Prasad Goyal, and District Collector Arvind Poswal were among the dignitaries present to confer these honors.
This year’s Art Promoter Awards included the Srijan V.D. Paluskar Award to TV and film actor Hemant Pandey, Omkarnath Thakur Award to renowned artist Kamal Sharma, Nandalal Bose Award to producer, writer, and artist Kajal Suri, Master Madan Award to TV and film actor Syed Salim Afzal Zaidi, and Khemchand Prakash Award to Rajasthani folk singer Seema Mishra. The efforts of Srijan the Spark continue to bring forth talented individuals from across the country.
