Mumbai : Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has been awarded the title of 'Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity' for 2024 by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, in recognition of his compassionate lifestyle and efforts to promote sustainable living. Known for his charismatic presence on screen, Riteish has made just as much of an impact off-screen through his advocacy for animals and ethical choices.
A staunch supporter of a plant-based lifestyle, Deshmukh co-founded 'Imagine Meats' with his wife, actress Genelia Deshmukh. The company has gained significant attention for its delicious plant-based alternatives, promoting cruelty-free dining options. The brand's vegetarian "chicken" nuggets were previously honored with PETA India's Best Vegetarian Meat Award, further solidifying its reputation in the realm of compassionate cuisine.
