75th All India Commerce Conference to Be Held at Pacific University

Udaipur: The 75th All India Commerce Conference, organized jointly by Pacific University and Govind Guru Tribal University, will take place on October 18, 19, and 20 at Pacific University. This event will see participation from over 2,300 educators from 28 states, including Vice Chancellors, professors, and research scholars from more than 400 colleges and universities across the country. They will present their research papers on the theme "Developed India 2047," focusing on how India can become a developed nation by the centenary of its independence in 2047.

A total of 1,008 research papers have been submitted for presentation in seven different sessions during the conference. The keynote speaker will be Professor Justin Paul, Provost and Dean of NMIMS Mumbai, who has extensive teaching experience in several countries.

Rahul Agarwal from the Pacific Group stated that the conference will include discussions on various economic, industrial, and financial issues relevant to national interests. This will contribute to the development of robust industrial and commercial policies, offering viable solutions to challenges faced by the industry.

Professor K.S. Thakur, Vice Chancellor of Govind Guru Tribal University, highlighted that this is the largest commerce conference ever held in South Rajasthan, providing significant benefits to researchers and students in the region. Attendees will gain deep insights into contemporary topics through factual and logical discourse.

Professor Hemant Kothari, President of Pacific University, described the conference as a unique gathering of subject matter experts and intellectuals. It aims to develop a roadmap for commerce and management education in the digital age while fostering meaningful discussions on the future of management based on Indian knowledge traditions. He emphasized that the participation of over 2,300 subject experts underscores the potential for innovative and developmental ideas to emerge from this forum.

The conference will also feature a special session addressing the evolving role of human resources amidst global instability, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, as well as exploring opportunities and challenges related to artificial intelligence in the context of national development.

Registrar Sharad Kothari noted that discussions will center around crucial topics such as the commercial applications of digital technology, integrated rural development, cloud accounting, data analysis, and innovative distribution and supply chain management.

All officials from the Indian Commerce Association will also participate. During the conference, elections for the upcoming Executive Council will take place, along with deliberations on national-level academic and co-curricular activities in the field of commerce.

Conference Coordinator Dr. Dipin Mathur mentioned that fundamental research on promoting development, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship in rural areas will also be presented. There is significant interest among scholars regarding the I.C.A. Research Scholar Award, which is given in memory of Professor Samiuddin.

Dr. Anurag Mehta, another conference coordinator, stated that educators from 300 cities across the country will also have the opportunity to explore Udaipur. This is expected to enhance Udaipur's recognition as a tourism destination on the national stage and boost local businesses.

The Pacific University has arranged accommodation and meals for all registered educators for the three days, along with transportation from the airport and railway station.
