Yashvardhan Ranawat Raises Concerns Over the Condition of Swaroop Sagar Lake in Letter to District Collector

Udaipur  – Yashvardhan Ranawat, the Charter President of BCI Tourism and Vice President of the Udaipur Hotel Association, has written a letter to the District Collector demanding immediate action regarding the deteriorating condition of Swaroop Sagar Lake. During his visit to the lake on Wednesday, Ranawat shared photographs that clearly highlight the serious decline in water quality.

Swaroop Sagar Lake, connected to Udaipur's primary water bodies—Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar—is a crucial source of drinking water for the city. In his letter, Ranawat described the lake's deteriorating condition as a significant threat to Udaipur's water supply system and called for urgent guidelines and measures to address the issue.

Mukesh Madhvani, founder of BCI, stated that the Udaipur Hotel Association and BCI Tourism plan to take concrete steps in collaboration with government officials to draw attention to the lake's situation. He emphasized the importance of raising public awareness and collective efforts to tackle this crisis. Madhvani also noted that the condition of the lake not only affects water quality but could also have a direct impact on Udaipur's water supply.

Alongside Ranawat, Madhvani, along with BCI President Viplav Kumar Jain and Hotel Association President Sudarshan Dev Singh Karohi, expressed deep concern over the lake's plight. They have urged the district administration to promptly address this issue and take necessary actions for a resolution.
