### Pilgrims Visit Lord Mahavira's Nirvana Site

Udaipur: On the fifth day of the 12-day religious pilgrimage to Sammed Shikhar Ji, organized under the auspices of JSGIF Mewar Region, devotees departed from Gaya and reached Pavapuri, the sacred place where Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, attained Keval Gyan (omniscience) and nirvana, amidst the stunning natural beauty.

Region Chairman Anil Nahar shared that according to Jain beliefs, the pilgrimage to Pavapuri is a holy journey to the site of Lord Mahavira's nirvana. Main pilgrim leader Manmohanraj Singhvi mentioned that all the pilgrims visited Samoarann, Moksha Mandir, and the New Temple, experiencing deep spiritual bliss.

Trip organizer and pilgrim leader Dilip Surana added that at the world-renowned Jal Mandir, located amidst the Kamal Talai in Pavapuri, pilgrims offered prayers and performed aarti with resounding chants in praise of Lord Mahavira.

Pilgrim leader Shantilal Velawat informed that in the evening, a cultural program and devotional evening were organized at Shwetambar Dharamshala. Pilgrims, filled with joy and spiritual fervor, danced and rejoiced in the blissful atmosphere.

Mahavir Choudhary, another pilgrim leader, stated that tomorrow the group will journey by bus from Pavapuri to visit prominent Jain pilgrimage sites, including Lachhuwad Ji, Kshatriya Kund, and Guniyaji, where Lord Mahavira attained Keval Gyan.
