Conclusion of the 29th Senior National Women’s Football Championship "Rajmata Jijabai Trophy"
Jaipur, The grand closing ceremony of the 29th Senior National Women’s Football Championship "Rajmata Jijabai Trophy" was held at the football turf ground of Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium. The event saw the presence of distinguished guests including Jaipur MP Mrs. Manju Sharma, Chief Sangh Pracharak Rajasthan Pradesh Shri Ram Prasad, and Pro-Chancellor of NIMS University, Prof. Amarika Singh.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Rajasthan Football Association’s Secretary, Mr. Dilip Singh Shekhawat, and Rajasthan Women’s Football Chairperson, Mrs. Roshni Tank, who greeted the guests with honor.
Chief guest Mrs. Manju Sharma expressed her delight in seeing the national competition hosted in Jaipur and congratulated the organizers on the successful event, which showcased the growing interest in women's football.
Shri Ram Prasad extended his best wishes to the winning and runner-up teams and commended their outstanding performances. Pro-Chancellor Prof. Amarika Singh announced the upcoming North-West Zone Inter-University Football (Men) Championship, to be hosted by NIMS University in collaboration with the Rajasthan Football Association.
Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala, Sports Board Secretary of NIMS University, confirmed the university's collaboration with the Rajasthan Football Association for the smooth organization of the upcoming championship.
The closing ceremony saw the victorious, runner-up, and third-place teams being awarded by the guests, along with individual honors for outstanding players. This championship not only promoted women’s football but also provided a platform for players to showcase their talents.
Notably, the opening ceremony of the competition was graced by Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari Ji, as the chief guest.
