Mahendra Chaudhary Makes History at National Level Bench Press Competition

Mahendra Chaudhary, a disciple of fitness coach Sikandar Naqvi and son of Ram Kunwar Chaudhary, has made history by participating in the National Powerlifting Bench Press Competition held in Vasco, Goa from October 14 to 18. Competing in the 74 kg category, Chaudhary lifted an impressive 172.5 kg, securing a gold medal and establishing Rajasthan's dominance in the sport.

According to Vinod Sahu, Secretary of the Rajasthan Powerlifting Association (IPF), Mahendra Chaudhary has repeatedly brought glory to Tonk district and has also earned the title of Strong Man in Rajasthan. Both Naqvi and Chaudhary have made significant contributions to powerlifting at both state and national levels.

The Tonk District Federation celebrated this achievement with great enthusiasm. Key figures present included Association Patron Sajid Ali Naqvi, wrestlers Mushtaq Ali Naqvi, Olympic Association Secretary Mumtaz Rahi, Weightlifting Coach Udaybhan Singh, and several other officials from the federation, including Abdul Ghafoor Shera, Assistant Secretary Sunny Kumar Mandhival, and Treasurer Mahendra Kumar Yogi. 

Vice Presidents Rakesh Sharma from National Health Club Niwai and Ram Avatar Saini from Martial Garage Gym Malpura, along with Master Weightlifting Secretary Kesar Ahmed and Bodybuilding President Said Khan, all extended their best wishes to Mahendra Chaudhary for a bright future in the sport.
