**Prof. Shailendra Chaturvedi invited as "Distinguished Guest" to the International Conference of the Indian Economic Association (IEA) hosted by NIMS University**

**NIMS University Rajasthan and Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara, to Sign MoU on New Education Policy, Cultural Heritage, and Indian Knowledge Tradition**

Ara, Bihar, 23 October 2024: NIMS University Pro-Chancellor and former Vice-Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Prof. Amarika Singh, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Veer Kunwar Singh University, Prof. Shailendra Chaturvedi. The primary goal of the meeting was to foster collaboration between the two institutions and initiate new ventures in the field of higher education.

During the meeting, Prof. Amarika Singh extended an invitation to Prof. Shailendra Chaturvedi to participate as a "Distinguished Guest" at the international conference of the Indian Economic Association (IEA), organized by NIMS University. The conference will focus on various aspects of the Indian economy and feature participation from experts and scholars from across the globe.

The two academicians discussed the potential for joint efforts to provide new directions in education. They proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NIMS University and Veer Kunwar Singh University in the near future. This MoU would focus on the New Education Policy, cultural heritage, and the Indian knowledge tradition.

Prof. Amarika Singh remarked, "Our aim is to explore new opportunities in education, not just locally, but on national and international levels." Prof. Shailendra Chaturvedi appreciated this collaboration, stating, "This initiative will give us the opportunity to preserve our cultural heritage and promote the Indian knowledge tradition."
