### Awareness Programs Held on World Occupational Therapy Day

Udaipur,  Pacific College of Occupational Therapy at Pacific Medical University celebrated World Occupational Therapy Day today. The theme for World Occupational Therapy Day 2024 is "Occupational Therapy for All," which highlights the profession’s vital role in enabling individuals, communities, and populations to participate fully in life.

Dr. Vishal Sharma, Principal of the college, shared that World Occupational Therapy Day is celebrated annually on October 27. This day promotes the goals and objectives of occupational therapy while raising awareness about the global impact of professional therapists. On this occasion, a variety of activities, including poster-making, rangoli, street plays, and presentations, were organized to educate patients, their families, and hospital staff on conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, Down syndrome, slow learning (ID), and global developmental delay (GDD).

Additionally, students organized an awareness rally on the university campus. Faculty members, including Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Dr. Amit, Dr. Dharmendra, Dr. Ashish, Dr. Akanksha, Ramsahay Meena, and Devendra Ameta from the Pacific College of Occupational Therapy, were present at the event.
