At the Vidya Bhavan Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Udaipur, the city’s largest Govardhan was honored with traditional worship by scientists, herders, and local couples at the center's cowshed. Spanning 30 feet, the grand Govardhan was revered in a ceremony filled with devotion. Following the rituals, herders engaged in traditional games with the cows, creating a vibrant atmosphere of excitement and spiritual fervor. The center’s 150 cows symbolically trampled over the Govardhan made of dung, enhancing the sense of awe and connection to ancient traditions among visitors from across the city.
The event's chief guest was Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka, Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology. Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tayalia, President of the Vidya Bhavan Society, and his wife played the role of chief hosts. Dr. Prafulla Bhatnagar, head of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, highlighted the presence of notable guests, including Badgaon Deputy Sarpanch Pratap Singh Rathore, Director of Extension Education Dr. R.L. Soni, honorary secretary of Vidya Bhavan Gopal Bamb, and dignitaries like Revati Raman Shrimali, Pushparaj Ranawat, and Dr. Anil Mehta.
