Udaipur: Talented national-level player Dhruv Tripathi has been appointed as the captain of Mohanlal Sukhadia University's Lawn Tennis Team. He has also been selected to represent the university in the upcoming West Zone Inter-University Lawn Tennis Tournament. The tournament will be held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, from 7 to 11 November at ITM University.
Upon his selection, the university's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunita Mishra, Chairman of the Sports Council, Prof. Neeraj Sharma, and Secretary Dr. Bhimrao Patel extended their best wishes and sent the team off.
Dhruv, currently a BBA 4th semester student at Vidyabhavan Rural Institute, credited his success to his coach Khemraj Gameti and talented player and physical education teacher Ujjwal Dadhich. Dhruv's father, Ashok Tripathi, shared that Dhruv has been training at Maharana Pratap Sports Complex and Kapasan Tennis Club in Udaipur for the past two years.
The team manager, Mohan Lal Salvi, and players Khushal Prajapat, Vikas Chaudhary, Ramesh Suthar, and Gourang Chauhan are also part of the team. On his appointment as captain, Vidyabhavan Rural Institute Director TP Sharma and Sports Department Coordinator Dr. Neeru Shrimali congratulated Dhruv.
