### Endoscopy and ERCP Workshop for African Gastroenterologists

*Udaipur, Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) organized a special workshop today on Endoscopy and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) for gastroenterologists from African countries. Over 20 gastroenterologists (stomach and liver disease specialists) from countries like Mali, Sudan, Cameroon, and Senegal participated in this event.

PMCH’s gastrointestinal specialist, Dr. Ashish Mehta, shared that the workshop aimed to provide the latest knowledge on endoscopy and ERCP techniques, training doctors in these advanced methods. The session covered techniques, tools, and potential benefits associated with endoscopy and ERCP in detail.

Dr. Mehta emphasized that India has made remarkable strides in the medical field, and it is a pleasure to introduce specialists from African nations to these cutting-edge technologies. Such exchanges foster global medical education and collaboration.

PMCH gastroenterologist Dr. Mayank Ameta explained that the workshop included practical training, live demonstrations, and hands-on experience for African specialists, helping them diagnose complex gastrointestinal problems, treat bile duct diseases, and learn the latest endoscopic techniques.

The African participants praised the workshop, noting that they gained invaluable insights into these new techniques, which they plan to implement in their respective countries.

The successful organization of the workshop was supported by Harsh, Lakshmi, and Krishna, whose contributions were instrumental.
