Barmer: A voluntary labor camp was organized on Sunday under the "Navo Barmer" initiative, led by the Barmer Jan Seva Samiti, Bharat Vikas Parishad, and Seva Sansthan. The camp focused on cleaning the Poonam Garden and surrounding areas within the premises of the Government Hospital. The event was held under the guidance of Omprakash Mehta, President of the Institute, Sadhvi Satyasiddha of Vatsalya Seva Centre, and Govindsingh Bhati, Managing Director of Bhati Courier and Cargo Pvt. Ltd.
Members from various organizations, including Jyoti Vidya Peeth, Undkha, Apex Public School, and others, enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive. After the labor camp, refreshments were provided to all the participants.
Kachhbdan Charan, President of Seva Sansthan Barmer, shared that the initiative was inspired by the "Navo Barmer" campaign of District Collector Tina Dabi. Volunteers from the Barmer Jan Seva Samiti, along with students from Jyoti Public School Undkha, Apex Public School, and Seva Sansthan, worked together voluntarily to clean the area.
On the occasion, Govindsingh Bhati arranged for JCB machines to remove large stones, while the students collected trash and loaded it onto tractors. Additionally, Mushtaq Khan distributed pamphlets to raise awareness among students and hospital visitors about animal welfare and maternal safety.
