Vice President Pays Tribute to Former Royal Family Member Mahendra Singh
Udaipur, On Saturday, Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, accompanied by his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, visited Samor Bagh in Udaipur to pay tribute to the late Shri Mahendra Singh Mewar, a former member of the royal family. The Vice President offered floral tributes and met with Shri Mahendra Singh Mewar's son, Vishwraj Singh Mewar, a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Nathdwara, along with other family members.
During the meeting, Shri Dhankhar reminisced about the significant contributions of Mahendra Singh Mewar and his legacy, expressing deep respect for his efforts in preserving culture and traditions. He stated that Mahendra Singh Mewar made an unparalleled contribution to safeguarding the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Also present at the occasion was Rajsamand Member of Parliament, Mrs. Mahima Kumari Mewar.
