Prof. Amarika Singh Attends Indian Soft Hockey League as Chief Guest
Prestigious Tournament Hosted at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium
Jaipur,: The Indian Soft Hockey League, featuring 16 of the nation’s top men’s and women’s teams, is currently underway at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The prestigious event was graced by the presence of Prof. Amarika Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Vikrant University, Gwalior, who attended as the Chief Guest.
This league is being jointly organized by the Indian Soft Hockey Association and Vikrant University, aiming to promote the sport of soft hockey and elevate its status across the country.
Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala, Director of Sports, attended as a distinguished guest and emphasized the importance of physical and mental development through sports. He also encouraged youth participation in sports, highlighting the unique potential of soft hockey in fostering fitness and teamwork.
Landmark MoU to Promote Soft Hockey
A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the Indian Soft Hockey Association and Vikrant University to promote soft hockey at national and international levels. The MoU aims to provide enhanced facilities and opportunities for players while increasing the sport's visibility and popularity.

The event also witnessed the presence of league Vice-Chairman Dr. Gajendra Singh Rathore, Secretary Dr. Ramesh Singh, Additional SP Pushpendra Singh Rathore, Vice President of the Soft Hockey League Dr. Paramjeet Singh, and Legal Advisor to the Soft Hockey Association Rajesh Kala, among others.
