ICICI Prudential Settles 99.04% Claims Quickly
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance achieved a remarkable claim settlement ratio of 99.04% during the second quarter of FY2025, covering the period from July to September 2024. The insurer processed death claims in an average of just 1.2 days, the fastest in the industry.
Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Amish Banker, stated, “A claim is the ultimate test of trust, and we ensure every claim is handled with care and sensitivity.
In Q2 FY2025, we settled ₹451 crore worth of death claims, with non-investigated claims averaging a settlement time of only 1.2 days after receiving the necessary documents.
Through our ‘Claim For Sure’ initiative, we promise to settle eligible claims within one day of document submission. In Q2 FY2024, ₹71.24 crore worth of death claims were processed under this initiative.
ICICI Prudential remains a leader with an exceptional claim settlement ratio, which stood at 97.94% in Q1 FY2024, 98.14% in Q2 FY2024, 98.52% in Q3 FY2024, and 99.17% for the full fiscal year.
